Mr. Romilos J. Davelopoulos participated for many years in the board of directors of Thessaloniki Port Authority and was elected as the president of Thessaloniki’s Shipping Agents Association.

Meanwhile the company’s fields of business expanded when Mr. Romilos J. Davelopoulos undertook the co-ownership of a number of dry cargo vessels.

In 1978 R.J.D accomplished to be the first-ever agency from Thessaloniki to establish a branch office in Piraeus.
